Save the Date! 9.29.18: TownGreen 2025, a program of the Gloucester Meeting House Foundation, presents its third Cape Ann Sustainability Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at O’Maley Innovation Middle School, located at 32 Cherry Street in Gloucester, MA, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Multiple presentations and discussions by experts about how to combine high sustainability standards like LEED with historically-informed building conservation practices and simple Yankee thrift for civic buildings and homes. Hosted in partnership with Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation, an initiative to minimize Gloucester’s carbon footprint in a decade.

Solar Roadways Incorporated is a startup company based in Sandpoint, Idaho, that is developing solar powered road panels to form a smart highway. Their technology combines a transparent driving surface with underlying solar cells, electronics and sensors to act as a solar array with programmable capability. Solar Roadways Inc is working to develop and commercially produce road panels which are made from recycled materials and incorporate photovoltaic cells.
